Celebrating Aboriginal Culture Package

For two days experience “Aboriginal First Nation” culture by exploring and feeling native teachings with a “smudge” and gathering at the “Calabogie Medicine Wheel". You will be invited to participate in native drumming (no music experience required. You can enjoy a leisurely walk with interpretation on the “Eagles Nest Trail” and then by paddle by canoe or kayak in the Madawaska River and Calabogie Lake. Depending on when you are here you could visit a “sweat lodge” or the “Pikwakanagan Pow Wow”. During your visit schedule a one hour “spiritual or self-awareness” session chosen from a variety of options. At the end of the day relax here in the comforts of home and in the morning enjoy a “Native” themed gourmet breakfast. For $340.00 + HST All admissions to attractions and awareness sessions, rentals of canoe or kayak, and accommodations for 2 for two days included. (Lunch and dinners are not included but choose from a variety of many outstanding local Ottawa Valley restaurants.) This package is available from May 17th to August 31st.
